A new version of Kristalias BCN stool, already winner of the Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum, makes its debut in Paris at NOW! Design `a Vivre 2011. The seat is soft and sensuous, always in a special plastic material that is typically used as insulation for electronic components, because of its exceptional resistance to wear, solvents and heat.
In the new version presented this material is in pleasant contrast to the warmness of the natural beech wood used for the legs, attached to the seat with metal supports painted in the same finish.
The stool BCN comes also in a fixed version with frame on a single leg and in two swivelling versions - on a disc-shaped base and on a 5-spoke base - both with a height-adjustable device.
