Compagnie Francaise de l�Orient et de la Chine is the inspiring name of a new boutique, situated on Boulevard Haussmann in the centre of Paris. Francois Schmidt and Sarah Lavoine have designed the interior. They were inspired by Japanese mood boards. Cambodian palm leaves has been folded to make storage boxes a European and Asian furniture designers have been chosen for the furniture. The G`uo chair in lacquered wood by Benoit Lienard has a back which contains an ideogram of Chinese calligraphy.
