Introducing chair YorkChair for universal use

05.04.2012 — Invisible attraction

Designer Johan Lindst'en has been inspired by the military stealth technology employed in fi ghter aircraft, where designs often encompass complex and unusual forms. Stealth technology and a fascination with angles and their complexity inspired Johan Lindst'en to create a unique armchair.

Johan Lindst'ens furniture is characterised by carefully conceived design and unexpected details. The new armchair Stealth is no exception. Stealth is an invitingly comfortable armchair whose different surfaces and angles interact to create an exciting expression of light and shadow.

If you view the armchair from a central vantage point, you cant fi nd two angles that are the same. If you take a look at the armchairs wings, you might fi rst get the impression that they are simply fl at surfaces. In fact, they are twisted along the centre axis in order to make the design structurally possible. Together, the different surfaces and angles create a comfortable and relaxing armchair.
