L16 by Lualdi is the new collection of doors designed by Piero Lissoni and unveiled at the Made Expo 2011 trade fair. Only 16 mm thick and specially designed to minimize the amount of space taken up, the new door challenges the established rules on the dimensions of the door element. Extraordinarily slender, the hinged door resembles a sheet, a clean page, which separates the rooms with a light hand and a smooth movement. Each and every visible element has been designed to disappear. What you see is an intact surface, showing no marks, perfectly homogeneous.
It is a veritable architectural element that is able to characterise and define space through the choice of materials and colours. L16 by Lualdi offers the utmost in customisation and extreme flexibility of use. It can be had in versions featuring asymmetrical side and top panels, with or without transom.
