06.11.2011 — Oxford furniture named after Alumni

University of Oxford brand, has announced the launch of an exciting new Home & Living collection together with Halo Licensing. The Oxford Collection is inspired by the Universitys 800 years of tradition and excellence, and focuses on the rich historical and architectural archives and imagery of its many colleges, private halls and sports clubs. Each range is named after renowned Alumni and benefactors of the University.

The famous Oxford rowing and rugby clubs are also well represented throughout the collection; as are a number of Oxfords 38 colleges with a range of wall art using their colourful and intricate crests and coats of arms.  The launch of The Oxford Collection marks a significant development for the Oxford brand and licensing programme, says Chris Evans, Managing Director of Oxford Limited. This marks the first time we are making an entry into the Home and Furniture market. Among the furniture is the The Radcliffe Desk & Desk Chair.

The Radcliffe range was created in honour of a former student of the university; Dr John Radcliffe who graduated from Oxford to become a Fellow of Lincoln College. The Radcliffe Desk is finished to an extremely high quality and designed to last for generations. It uses the Oxford Stripe lining.
